Switching to the Inbox quickly
For keyboard fans, pressing Ctrl+I will take you to the Inbox.
You can also set Outlook Express to start directly in the Inbox when it loads by going to Tools, Options, and checking When starting, go directly to my 'Inbox' folder on the General tab.
