Problems with the Temporary Internet files
If you find you are getting lots of browser crashes it could be that your Temporary Internet files have become corrupted. Another sign is if you've just cleared your History and TIF but AutoComplete still fills in URL's when you type them in. To fix the problem, restart your computer in DOS mode (don't think it works from within Windows) and delete the c:\windows\tempor~1 folder. When you next start Windows, a new clean TIF folder will be created for you.
