Background images and table cell colours not showing

If you're finding that table cell background colours aren't showing, or that web sites seem to be mostly black and white, check you don't have Accessibility Formatting enabled. Go to Tools, Internet Options... and press the Accessibility button. You can then uncheck the appropriate checkboxes, most likely to be Ignore colours specified on Web pages.
